Haiti - U-17 WC Morocco 2026 Qualifiers : Despite their victory against Bermuda [2-0], Haiti is eliminated 23/03/2026 05:53:38
On Sunday, March 22, 2026, as part of the final phase of the qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Morocco 2026 (October-November 2026), on field number 2 of the Costa Rican Football Federation in Alajuela, Costa Rica, our Grenadières faced Bermuda in their final group match, which they won 2-0, concluding the U-17 Women's qualifiers. Starting XI : French coach Marc-Ogil Frenoy Baptiste announced his starting eleven for the Grenadières against Bermuda. The coach made four changes, bringing on: #7 Krystel Chatelain (Lakeshore, Ontario); #15 K. Mondestin Adjani (AS Laval, QC, Canada); #17 Ductan Samira Olisia (Annapolis Blues USA) and #19 Daphney Louis (ESM Canada) will play in a match for pride, as they are currently 3rd in their group with 2 losses. In the 2nd minute, Adjani Kamanzi-Mondestin opened the scoring for Haiti (1-0) with an assist from Keisha Gue. A match with little at stake, offering few real chances until the 86th minute when Nya Jean-Baptiste doubled Haiti's lead [2-0] with a close-range right-footed shot down the middle of the goal following a corner. Haiti defeated Bermuda [2-0], but despite this victory, our Grenadières, third in Group B, exit the competition after giving their all. Unfortunately, the results did not meet the objectives that had been set. The players will use this experience to grow and come back stronger.
